As the fourth quarter of 2023 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has provided valuable insights into the performance of the top Film & Television applications on the Android platform in Australia. These apps have shown varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, and we'll take a closer look at how each has fared over the period.

Paramount+ experienced a significant surge in downloads, peaking at 75K in the last week of December, compared to 10K at the quarter's start. Revenue trends also showed an upward trajectory, rising from 90K USD in late September to nearly 98K USD by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a notable increase from 70K to 181K over the same period.

Disney+ demonstrated robust revenue performance, with a notable spike reaching 921K USD in early December. Downloads remained consistent, hovering around the 20K mark weekly, but peaked at 33K in the final week of the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase over time, from 653K to 694K.

10 play maintained a steady stream of downloads, with a high of 42K in late October. As there was no revenue data available, the focus shifts to weekly active users, which saw an initial rise from 109K to 181K in October but ended the quarter at 118K.

Tubi: Movies & Live TV did not generate revenue but saw a consistent number of downloads, with a high of 19K in late November. Weekly active users peaked at 61K in October, ending the quarter at a slightly lower 56K.

Lastly, Netflix, despite not having revenue data for this period, showed strong engagement with weekly active users reaching over 1.2M by mid-December. Downloads saw an uptick towards the end of the quarter, rising from 12K to 24K.
